My sister in law would like me to add a chapter to her wedding DVD. I have all the raw footage...she just wants to add a chapter with the speeches...what is the best way to do this? I have some experience editing and authoring DVD's but I have never had to edit an authored DVD. I suppose I could also add the footage to an existing chapter if that would be easier. Thanks for any suggestions.

Are you asking, (1) how to add a chapter point to an existing (authored) DVD or (2) how to add additional material to an DVD? Either way, I'd use TDA & Imgburn. If,

    (1) Open the DVD in TDA, add your new chapter point, reauthor (w/TDA) and burn with Imgburn.

    (2) What is the source of the new material? Do you need to encode it. If so, additional tools for the audio and video encoding would be required. If so both the audio (e.g., ac3, mp2) and video (e.g, 720x480 NTSC) needs to be encoded to the same specs as the original if you want to insert it onto the same track as the original. If already authored then you may be able to open the DVD in TDA (edit & insert). Even if the resultant additional material is different (video and / or audio) you put it on a different track in TDA.

PGCEdit's Chapter Editor should be able to work on an already-authored DVD - I believe you just need to specify the timecode of any chapter(s) you want.
    If in doubt, Google it.
