    I got a sony - attack force- tried to back it up. Everything is failing. The Interesting find was on the back of the dvd case where it shows the approx time and stuff - There is a box that says MASTERED IN HIGH DEFINITION??? Interesting... HMMM can this be the reason it doesn't copy normally??

    MASTERED refers to the original source copy. In this case it is a HD source that is then downconverted for DVD.

    anydvd copies it...just a new version of across or whatever flavor it is they call it now
