Does anyone know about foreign characters being read incorrectly? I have a video & subtitles srt file. The subtitles file is suppose to be in Asian characters, but when I open the srt file in WordPad/NotePad, all the text is garbled. I opened up a French srt file and can recognize French words perfectly. I have another Asian srt file which displays the Asian characters properly. But sometimes the Asian srt file is garbled.
Was the saving of the srt file incorrect? Is it reversible?
