MacTheRipper for ripping and DVD2oneX for compression and burning.

I use MTR 3.0 ( beta need to donate to get it)and DVD2oneX 2.1.0 plus Toast 7 sometimes.

If you want MTR 3.0 go HERE to donate to get the beta version.

DVD2oneX is try before you buy so give it a try. DOWNLOAD HERE

Yes perfect response. Have used MacTheRipper and Toast Titanium for burning without any problems whatsoever.

Those are indeed great suggestions. Since you also have the capability of dual-booting, you have the option of continuing to use your pc tools in addition. Depending on whether the source dvd has errors or was authored a bit off-spec, different tools may or may not balk at doing the job, so it's nice to have alternatives.
