I want to pull a single chapter of a dvd and put it on a new one but when I extract with DVD decryptor and then put the m2v and ac3 into dvdlab it says, "This file is corrupted because it doesn't start with the correct file header. DVDlab fixes it but removes 384 bytes of data from the AC3 stream.

Then it says the m2v stream is corupted and fixes it by removing 98 bytes of data. Then DVDlab warns me that open GOPs are detected in the file. After compiling my new dvd I find that the video and audio are out of synch.

I can fix this with the audio synch tool in tmpg but it is time consuming. Is there a way I can rip a single chapter without the audio getting out of synch?

Vobedit ... open first vob of title ... hit demux ... by cell id ... check box "complete title set" ... hit go ... it ask's for output folder ... you say where ... and wait .

Locate vobcell that contains required data ... open it with vobedit ... demux ... choose mpeg or m2v ... and process .

In vobedit main window is information regarding audio streams type's and id's ... choose correct stream ... hit demux ... choose the required format ... then stream id ... process .

Put these two stream's somewhere safe ... delete all other files associated with this process ... if not required .
