    I have a series of 5 .mpg files that i want to join.....i usually use the mpeg tools "merge and cut" in TMPGenc.

    When i try with these particular mpg's it says that they arent mpeg files. Double clicking the files opens them in Windows Media Player and they play as normal??

    Any ideas?

    Use a program called FileMerger to join them. You won't have any problem joining them together. Just make sure you keep 4096kb as the buffer size.

    FileMerger is freeware so just use a search engine to find it.
