I need to create a filesystem on a machine that dual boots XP and Suse. The filesystem must be accessible from Windows, not fragment, and must support very large files (thus FAT16/32 is ruled out). The specs for the filesystem must be open (thus NTFS is ruled out on principle).
I noticed there are ext2 drivers for Windows. Is that my best option?

if that's the case, then yes it's your best option.
