Does anyone know a reasonably priced DVD player that will play back live CDs properly - IE no gap between each track - every one I've tried adds one!

Isn't this a function of the CD itself? If you don't change the inter-track delay to zero when you record, the default 2 seconds of silence will most likely occur.

If it is a self-made CD, check the source wavs in a sound editor for in/out silence and cut them out if necessary. Don't forget to set zero gaps in CD creating software. A player itself shouldn't add any gaps.

Cheers, but the CDs play back OK on a CD player and the computer - it's just that both my DVD players stick a gap between the tracks!

Not a major problem - must just be unlucky with my choice of players.
