I used to turn on this computer and I was at the desktop. Then I had to use restore discs to fix some stuff, get some original programs back and now when the computer is turned on it goes to the logon page first (where you click on your name and picture). How can I get back to turning on the computer and going right to the desktop, skipping that logon page? Thank you.

    From memory:

Go to Control Panel > User Accounts, and untick "Use Welcome Screen".

    If that ain't it, try:

    If in doubt, Google it.
