    I've been looking all over for a console tool to cut my .wmv files into X MB large clips, found av_convert but havne't found any video plugin to support .wmv files, anyone got any ideas of a good tool?

    tried mencoder ?

    mencoder -ovc copy -oac copy -ss 0 -endpos 700mb -o movie_part1.avi movie.avi
    but maybe it can't use copy mode for wmv.
