Since TMPGE always freezes on me, I have decided to try to rip the audio separately. The problem, is that when I go into VDub and open the asf file, I get the following error:
ASF: parse error -- too many segments in packet at 3d1 (3 expected) packet size = 9cb, send time: 0:00
Any help is much appreciated. Are there any other audio ripping programs out there?

Maybe the ASF file has errors in it. ?????
You could try repairing it using ASFTools. look for it here in the "tools' section on your left.
Once that is done, give VirtualDub a go.
Just a thought
