    after having my pc reformatted etc today after getting a trojan - I find that the computer guy has removed my old publisher, word etc and replaced them with open office.
    How can I open all of the documents that I have made in publisher?
    and can I run publisher ( if I get a new copy) alongside open office

    You can run the entire office suite along side Open Office. You just have to make sure you set whichever program you want to defaults.
