i have some avi files which i intend to put on vcd. i used tmpgenc to encode my avi files to videocd (NTSC) format.
there have been no problems writing data and audio cds but already 4 cd-rs have been spoiled trying to write a vcd. it writes til a certain track/percentage and ejects the disc.
this is the error msg is from a simulation i carried out.
taken from log file.
#25 Phase 34 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1436
Simulation failed at 4x (600 KB/s)
i use the AOPEN CD-RW 9420.
any assistance will be appreciated.
thanks.

I always make a testcd on a RW. Why waste a CD-R every time, even when they are cheap these days, its still money and environmental loss!
The error message, I don't know.
