  1. I downloaded virtual dub and in the tutorial for it on here it tells me to select codecs that don't show up in my virtual dub? I was also wondering if I have to convert these avi files to avi's again, then use like TMPeng or whatever to make them to divx format?

  3. The questions your asking are rather broad based, so instead of trying to answer them myself you can goto:
    http://www.digital-digest.com/
They have all the DiVX/AVI tools you need, plus "Nicky's Pages" which have many usefull guides.
