  1. I bought a philips dvd recorder. It has many features & works fine with recording but the dvds dont work in any dvd i try to play it in. It says on the dvd player that there is an error loading or it just wont play. I have tried it in 3 different dvd players and i am wondering why it won't play. I record off of the t.v or off ON Demand from Comcast. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. [/b]

Have you finalized the disc? If you don't finalize it you won't be able to play it on another player. The one exception is Dvd+Rw. Those you can pop into another player without finalizing. BUT any other - or + R type disc needs to be finalized. Meaning you can't add more to it unless its a rewritable disc.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

Are your players older machines? Some older machines don't like recordable discs.

Also, check this link for other compatibility issues.
