Is there some free tool to create a video transparency? Like turning an specific color to transparent.

Do you mean a chroma key or separately creating an alpha channel?

Not sure; I have a video with a cyan background and I want to turn the cyan to transparent to import it in flash 8.

As for free, you can do it for free with learning curve investment. This path gets extremely techie.

Or you could buy Sony Vegas or Premiere Pro (full product). Older versons will work fine. If you apply shopping skills you can get these under $100.

These products also have learning curve but are supported with tutorials.

Wax can also do it, however most video formats do not support transparency or alpha channels.
