HELP!! Having Problems Copying an already burned SVCD

Hello again since I am new here I have another question, a friend has given me a stack of VCD's which I tested out on my friends player and all are very good quality, they are all copies on Memorex CD-R and other brands (Branding isnt the issue here), I used Roxio EZ CD Creator 5 to copy 4 movies so far using the CD Copier function and no problem they all work great. I came upon this movie the next one I was going to copy and I used the CD Copier and when it got done getting the information I went to insert a Blank disc to burn like I did prior with other movies and it said there were errors, so I tried it again for good measure, same thing happened again. I then rebooted, I have a p4 1.3 Ghz with 128 and nothing else running, I tried it again and got errors, I then tried to get a disc image with EZ CD Creator and then it got all hung up at 99% completed. I then did a check on the contents of the disc I was trying to copy and it said it was a SVCD, does Roxio allow you to copy SVCD or do I need another program for SVCDs? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
