I don't know where to post this but i recently purchased a dvd player DVP5140 and when i watch a movie it stops 15 mins into I have changed media still no difference.
I'm looking for a program that will scan my files for errors or somthing

Most burning programs allow you to scan the burnt disk for read errors. That should tell you that the data can be read. It will not tell anything about the video structure being right or wrong. I am not sure whether there is anything out there to "Scan" a Divx video for errors. If you burnt disk is readable in the PC, then it will be your player that can not read it for whatever the reason. Probabably too numerous to name.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
Changed media? Burned the file onto a different DVD?
I assume the file cannot play on the PC either?XP

VirtualDub MP3 freeze is generally used for scanning AVI for bad/undecodable frames.
