    when I try to backup my laptop straight to dvd using acronis true image it doesnt work so I am gonna save them then burn them later with a different burning program.

    Other than nero is there any other program (thats free) that will let me burn tib. files to a data dvd?

    When you write as data, the file type is irrelevant.
