As posted in my previous message...

I just bought Roxio CD Creator 5 Platinum and I have tried making VCD's with it...
I select TRACK-BY-TRACK, and then when I play it, it reads it as "TRACK 0" and then gives the total time but WON'T play.
I then erased it (I was using a CD-RW) and made the SAME thing with NERO. And it separated all tracks so I could seek through them and it worked great!
But what is wrong with ROXIO?! I paid 99.99 for it and even though I am happy using NERO, it kinda pisses me off I spent this money and it won't work. Is there a way to get it to separate tracks?

So then what happened is I put 2 videos on and selected the WHOLE ALBUM record and it worked! So then I erased, put EVERYTHING on I wanted (10 music videos), and it DIDN'T work!
So what is up?! Can anyone help?

For a while a long time ago, I used Easy CD Creator 4 Deluxe to make my VCDs... and I got flaky results as well (e.g., some VCDs worked, some inexplicably didn't).
As to why this happens, only Roxio knows (or perhaps not even them)...
If you intend on may a simple multitrack VCD, Nero is quite good. Alternatively, you could try VCDImager + CDRDAO + XDuplicator as a completely freeware alternative: http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd or the mirror http://www.vcdimager.org/guides
Follow the articles to "Simple Multitrack" and "Burning CUE/BIN Images".
