Hi all - I have a Freecom Media player with a 300GB internal hard drive. When adding files to the HDD from the pc, I check whether the files will play - if they play when connected then generally they will play when the media player is connected to the TV (as a stand-alone). however, there are several files, downloaded, copied from DVD etc that come up with the error message 'Cannot play this file - format is not supported'. These are primarily .avi files, yet 95% of the .avi files will play with no problems. Can anyone shed some light, asisstance etc before I go fruit-loops? Where do I star![]()
