I have compressed my video files through Dr DivX. It reduces the file size but the compressed file is greatly reduced into picture quality and sound quality considerably.
However I have seen many compressed movies where the picture quality and sound quality was superb ( extra-ordinary).
I just want to do tht.
is there any solution for that ???

You are surprised that compression reduces quality?
Basic rule is:
The higher the quality of the source, the more it can take compression.
You need to experiment. -

Well try to filter your source before you encode it to divx
