    Does anyone know of a way to convert a Real Player file (RM) to an MPEG-4 file? im trying to get some real files on my iPod but have yet to find a program that does this?

    ffmpegX is able to do that, using mencoder encoding engine, if you install the Real libraries (see ffmpegX install instructions page, and there if you have an Intel Mac). Please note that the whole process won't be an easy thing.
