Long time reader, first time poster.

I have had to move over to Vista for work purposes, however, the "Codec pack - All in 1 Version 6.0.3.0" that I used to use on XP is no longer working and gives me an error in Media Player 11 whenever I try to watch xvid files. If I don't have the codec pack installed I just get the audio with visulisation.

I have used the various versions of this codec pack for many years now so was quite annoyed that this of all things no longer worked under Vista.

As I miss not being able to watch my xvid files I was wondering if anybody here knew of any other versions of the codec or packs that may work in Vista that I could try out?

Don't use codec packs. Get the codec you need when you need it. For XviD codec click here.
