    Hi,

Can any body tell me how can i make the DivX DVD(multiple DivX movies), which should be playable in stand Alone player.

I mean i want to burn DivX moives to DVD & want to play in my Stand Alone player.
My Stand Alone player supports the DivX movies.

Does it require some more files as in case of (S)VCD/DVD or simply burn the DivX files & player will play it?

Please me form where can i get the help or software which can do this for me.

    Kind Regards,
    Thanks.

Just burn the AVI files to a DVD-R as if you were making a DATA DVD.

I use Nero Burning ROM (7.x Ultra Edition) for this and use the Nero Express option for this as it allows you to easily make a DATA CD or DATA DVD. One of the few things Nero is actually good at LOL

    FulciLives,
You mean just burn them as in case of data CD/DVD. No special files are required? (oh this seem to be as we just burn the MP3 cd/DVD, right ?)

OK, Let me make a try then i will let you know, if some thing goes wrong.

    Kind Regards,
    Thanks.

You got it ... just like burning a DATA CD/DVD with MP3 files. Nothing special is needed.

I'm not sure if you burn Joliet or ISO or what ... I use Nero Express at default options (for DATA CD/DVD burning) and it works for me that way.

    I have a Philips DVP-5140 which is a MPEG-4 capable DVD player.

My understanding is that you should use the "Bridge" mode for the DVD format. In my version of NERO (Version 6.6.013) it is presented as "Make UDF/ISO DVD" in the Data DVD menu in StartSmart. In NERO burining ROM it appears as File >> New >> DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO).

Using this mode you get the compatibility between the format required for DVD players and DVD-ROM on PCs.

It seems to work OK for me with my Toshiba SD-360E DVD player.
In fact, I made a "multimedia test DVD" to try out on various players in the shop: It contained a selection of DIVX, MPEG, MP3 (audio) and JPEG (Pictures) files, all on the one DVD.
