    hi i have been trying to do this divx file but it just wont go on to svcd2dvd and when i try ofther avi it comes up with ffmpeg.exe hasencoutered a problem and need close

    it was working ok 2 days ago

    If it is a oneoff file the it is possible the file is corrupted.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
    VOB2MPG PRO, Extract mpegs from your DVDs - with you in control!

    But thought svcd2dvd never used codecs? That was what I read initially... I know it sounds daft but that is was what I read...

    its true SVCD2DVD doesn't use codecs.

    I think your input is the issue. Can you open a command prompt and type:

    "C:\Program Files\BadgerIT\SVCD2DVD v2\ffmpeg" -i "PATHTOYOURFILE"

    and then post your results?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
    VOB2MPG PRO, Extract mpegs from your DVDs - with you in control!
