I've got a single-VOB, unencrypted, movie-only DVD that plays great, yet it's exceptionally resistent to any attempt to demux the streams via MPEG Streamclip. (Crashes every time.) Even if I copy the disk with MTR or DTOX, the results will not allow me to demux it. MTR demuxes it, but MTR m2v's have always been crap in my experience.

Are there any other good programs that can demux m2v and ac3 files out of a DVD?

If you haven't already tried it, I'd recommend taking a look at bbdemux. It's successfully handled some damaged files for me; maybe it'll work on your problem case, too.

Also, take a look at the tools within ffmpegx. I don't remember offhand if the demux tool will operate on vobs, but it is one more thing to take a look it.

Project-X is the ultimate demuxer, although is very difficult to use.
