Does anyone know how to change the aspect ratio of AVI files without having to re-encode them completely. I need them to each have the width of 640.
I tried mpeg4 modifier, but after I save the ratio stays the same.

You must reencode if you want to change the width. You can use autogk or avi recomp.

Ok thanks, it's taking soo long to reencode it, so there is no alternative faster way just to change the width?

No.
