    can divx files be more than 1 gb in size?

    They can be any size. You mean AVI divx files right?

  3. Some further issues to consider:

    Some Divx/DVD players can't play files over 1GB.

    The ISO file system has a limit of 2 GB.

    The UDF file system has a limit of 4 GB.

    I always thought that 2GB was the limit to be "safe" when making a MPEG-4 AVI file at least for playback on a MPEG-4 capable DVD player.

    I never heard of a 1GB limit though?
