I took this 11.4 MB video in QuickTime format but the camera ran out of memory before I stopped taping.
Now I have the file but can only view it on the camera, not on a PC.

Is there anybody out there who knows how I can fix it or I can email it to to get it fixed?

Please let me know so we can work out the details.

    Thanks, Hans

At a guess it is mjpeg in a .mov container. Try using SUPER to convert it to something viewable.

    guns1inger thanks for your advice!

I downloaded SUPER but once converted it is giving me "Output Status: ERROR!" message...

I don't know but maybe I might be doing something wrong?

If anybody is willing to help, no problem for me to Email or IM the 12MB file to you.

    Just let me know, thanks!

If you post it on rapidshare.de in a password protected archive and pm me the password I'll have a look at it.

I can't seem to do anything with it. I have tried

opening it in a variety of software
    - VLC : won't play it
    - Quicktime Pro : won't open it, say it is damaged
    - g-spot 2.60b1 : opens it but cannot determine codec
    - virtualdubmpeg2 : cannot determine the codec required

I have tried to change the fourcc manually to four it to open, but everything sees the file as damaged and incomplete.

Maybe someone else has an idea ?

    Sorry mate.

NEW POST WITH THE NEW "EVIDENCE" here: https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=314732

    guns1inger,

Thanks for the time and effort you have put in to this!

I have done some re-search on this and it seems it requires someone that can dive in to the Hex code of the actual file.
It would be great if someone could look in to this again.

    Thanks, Hans
