Does anyone know how to get the files from a Samsung SC-MM10S camcorder to play on a Mac?

Have you tried playing them with VLC Media Player? I'm unclear what problem you are having. Are you unable to get them from the camcorder onto the Mac?

Samsung's website description as follows: Capture enhanced quality video in MPEG4 ASP (Advanced Simple Profile) format (720 x 480) at 30fps for high resolution, life-like images.

This does not sound like Apple's "Low Complexity" H264 so you might want to try playing it first with QT Player, then VLC. If you're not successful, you might try using ffmpegX and attempt to convert the file to the iPod 640x480 format.

    Let us know your progress.

You could try dropping the file on the (free) iSquint
    from isquint.org -- might work.

Thanks, everyone! Through your posts I found Visual Hub from techspansion and that did the trick. For your information, when I tried to play the file, I would get audio with a blank screen.

    Thanks again everyone. Happy Thanksgiving.
