I have been looking for a method or software to add protection on my important data files such as word doc, excel doc, images, or videos, if my brother or friends get hold of that cd or dvd (for more space), then it falls into wrong hands and they might copy it, i am still having trouble finding a way. How do i add protection on cd or dvd?

Well, one of the easiest ways would be to simply "ZIP" or "RAR" the files and or folders with a password in place.

Or you could try something like these....

thanx for the link....those softwares tells me that i can use it to encrypt an entire partition of my hard disk or to create an encrypted container file which appears like a normal hard disk to Windows. I can then store and access your files on that virtual drive just like any other file.
Then I burn those files into a CD+R or DVD+R with copy protection in the disc???
