  3. I use Total Recorder. The problem I have is converting the mov to an AVI. Bink and Smakit works good most of the time. I haven't got mov2avi to work.

  7. The best way is using QuickTime pro go to export and at the bottom select wav

  8. But if the .mov is locked out from export feature then that won't work. Record .mov audio while you play it back with your audio recorder to save as .wav, be it Total, CD Spin Dr or whateverif all else fails. Remember it will be in real time.

  9. I'm coming across the problem of the .mov files that are blocked from saving will not record off hard drive during playback onto CD Spinner or Total Recorder. The Star Wars Ep1 and Unbreakable DVD trailer are examples.
How the heck is the file audio stopping after 20-30 seconds on CD Spinner? On TR, the audio pops every 10 frames or so. I'm recording off soundcard during playback. Are the recorders sending out a signal to the QT file that it is recording?
It's no big deal, I am not going to go out of my way to try to work around it, I'm just curious how this is happening. If the studios wish to do this then F them. It's only commercials anyway.
