I'm a desktop person. My father in law is buying a laptop from HP that comes with a hp expresscard tv tuner. What's better, taking this card or saving $100 and getting a USB card?

the hp tuner will work fine for what it is supposed to do"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
It will work fine? It will cap TV better than a USB device?
