I copied Mahabharat DVD. The chapters are not in order. The continuation scenes from previous DVD showing in chapter 5 instead of chapter 1. How to move contents and make chapter 5 as chapter 1, so that the DVD shows as continue from the previous DVD.

  2. Hi-

Does the retail DVD play the chapters in the proper order? If so, I think you messed up when doing the backup. Since you haven't said how you did the backup, no one can make suggestions, except to tell you to do it over, differently this time. Failing that, I'd suggest you take a look at the order in which the chapters play, using PGCEdit, and learn something about how to rearrange the play order. Compare the commands in the original retail DVD with the commands in the backup and make changes where necessary.

Pgcedit ... load dvd ... locate main title ... check chapter point's using the playback feature .

I doubt the order is screwed up ... more ... something wrong with the navigational command's which need correction .

    -------------

If indeed the chapter points are screwed up ... then vobedit can split the title up by cell id ...

You'll need to regenerate an ifo for each vob which retains the correct data info as for the rest of the title using ifoedit , which can be used with vobblanker to replace chapters that are incorrectly placed ... otherwise you can run into problems ... not major problems ... just little pain's .

    -------------

You'll get used to doing this soon ...

    -------------

Newer title's requirer better organized tool's to rip , or problems will occur .

Take a look at pgcedit's web site ... down the bottom , check plugin list ... and info on any tool's needed ... once these are installed , it is pretty well automated ... just follow the prompts till done .

Always play back on pc to check for error's before wasting media .
