I'm new to all this so bear with me.
I created a DVD with a slideshow and a movie and viewd it on my TV - looked great. I wanted to send a copy to relatives in the UK so I created another DVD but this time I clicked on PAL rather than NTSC. After it was created I tried to view it on my TV and I was able to - I didn't think I should be. So I figured I must not have clicked on PAL so I did it again with my wife watching to make sure I clicked PAL. Same thing.
Should I be able to view this DVD on my TV if it's in PAL format? I don't know what I can be doing wrong. If I mail it to England will my relatives be able to view it on their TV?
Thanks .... Carmen Ottawa Canada

Your standalone dvd player may convert it to NTSC or your TV supports PAL. Check the dvd if it is PAL,
