  1. Hi all,

wondered if some one could point me in the right direction with a little problem i've got. Currently uning a program called Burnatonce to burn my vcd's, this is because it seems to be the only stable thing (i.e. not displaying faults, burn failure, etc) i can find that run on my PC, Nero etc just fails all the time. Now if i have a kvcd file this comes with an image file that Burnatonce automatically recognizes and burns the movie without a problem, however i can not load up any normal mpeg files that i have converted to vcd myself into the programme.

My question is can i convert the VCD or mpeg file into an image file so that Burnatonce will recognise it and burn it (as the KVCD files appear after download)? I have treid various different burnig programs but they just fail where Burnatonce does the job without a problem, don't ask me why?

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks

  3. quite a while ago i posted a question about vcd conversion in this forum about a piece of software, think it was called something like Easyavi 2 dvd, or something like that. The general response i got was "avoid any software that has the word 'easy' in it, if you want something to work properly then you have to put some work into it yourself"....so Baldrick i have to say that i have avoided anything with the term easy in it ever since, as advised.
I always used to use Nero without a problem for many years up until about a year ago when it started failing all the time when burning stuff, have tried to uninstall it and reinstall new versions periodically ever since but same thing keeps happening, along with anything else i install and try.
Does VCD Easy break the mold then and really make things easy?

In my book, there's one exception to the "Avoid all somethingEasysomething software" rule and that's VCDEasy. There's nothing that beats VCDEasy when it comes to VCD/SVCD authoring.
