I've downloaded and installed the latest ffmegx universal binary (v0.0.9x r2 9/28/06), downloaded the 3 ancillary binaries from the recommended urls, pointed ffmegx to the binaries and pressed Install. The popup says that the installation was not successful. I've attached a jpeg of the error message. Any suggestions as to what could be going wrong?

It seems you have put ffmpegX in a folder called "A/V Tools" or "A:V Tools". My guess is that the installer doesn't like the character between the 'A' and 'V'. Spaces in the path can also cause errors for some Unix style executables. Use a safe folder name like 'AV_Tools' or put ffmpegX directly in /Applications instead of a subfolder.

Major has advised putting ffmpegX directly into the Applications folder.
