  1. I am new to all this but having read lot's of posts here I have managed to get along pretty well but I still have a problem. I am trying to create a VCD of camcorder footage captured using a ATI all in wonder card. I am capturing in mpeg1 - video cd format and then using tmpgenc and finally using nero to burn. Everything seems to work fine but when I play the vcd on my DVD player the picture freezes briefly every 5 or 6 seconds. Can anyone help?

  2. Your DVD player might not be designed to read burned media. Usually those of Pioneer/Apex players play CD-R/RW pretty well.

You might want to try several burning speed or try media of other dye color such as the black type. Someone even claims that Super-High quality CDRW should work. Not sure about this as I still cannot find any Super-High quality CDRW.

  3. Thanks for that.
Can anyone suggest a make of cd-r/rw that is known to work with JVC dvd players?

    Cheers
