    I am trying to get a football game I recorded on my HD DVR onto a DVD. I have already captured the game to my computer in 24 .ts files (rather than edit out commercials, I just made a separate recording of each game segment) equaling almost 21GB.

    I tried using HDTV2DVD. It worked well, except that, because it can only do 1 file at a time, I couldn't use the "shrink" option in order to get the whole game onto one DL DVD. The end result was 9.7GB of mpeg2 files. To make matters worse, my DVD authoring program, Nero 6 Ultimate, then told me that I would have to buy an additional plug-in to author the mpegs in their DD5.1 format.

    Before I buy SVCD2DVD, I want to make sure:
    (1) It performs the same conversion as HDTV2DVD, but it also allows me to convert multiple files AND has a "shrink to DL DVD" option.
    (2) It either burns the DVD, preserving the original DD5.1 audio, or it creates VOB files that I can author with another program.

    I am really hoping this program is the answer - this has been a frustrating process!

    Yes to both.... Try the demo.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
    VOB2MPG PRO, Extract mpegs from your DVDs - with you in control!
