    Hi,

I have created NTSC DVD from NTSC AVI (23.97) (script from FitToDisk and converted with Procoder to 23.97p NTSC (2-3 pulldown).

After that I tried to mux the M2V with AC3. I tried to do this with TAD but it could not do it to the end. It got all the way frozen at 93% but created VOBs that I could play one by one. It never created IFO or BUP.

I tried to mux it with Muxman bit it also was frozen at the end of the muxing processing.

Since VOBs were there, I created IFO and BUP with IFOEdit Everything went fine but when after burning I tried to play the DVD disk on my standalones, neither Panasonic nor Philips played it. They did not start playing as if there were no disk inside.

I can play it on PC though.

What could it be? How to fix it?

    Thank you

The first thing to look at when a compile stops part way is the source. If this the movie you added a new end piece to ? Would the break point be about where the new section was added ?

There are other free alternative to try, including rejig and GuiforDVDAuthor, however I suspect that they will also have problems. Check your source carefully - both video and audio. Run the AC3 file through AC3fix. Check the mpeg with a bitrate viewer to look for spikes (unlikely, but you never know)

Thank you! No, it is not the one I added a new end to

It is just an AVI file. I will check all the stuff. Hopefully it will clear something.

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay with reply. My PC was crashing every time I was trying to open my folder with videi file. I hve fixed it.

Rejig - the great tool of all times! It crunched it with no problem. After that I put the DVD through TAD to create chapters. It slowed at those 93% but finally processed it and verything is fine.

    Thanks!
