    Well I meant on my computer...color on everything else is fine. DVD video also plays in color, other video, avi and mpeg plays in black and white.

    What is the source of the video? Can you play the demo video files (Mpeg and Wmv) off the Windows install CD?

    First guess is display card overlay settings. Or a problem with the video driver.

    What player application are you using for DVD and for files? If a DVD plays, your MPeg2 driver is working.

    Try this player. VLC
    It uses internal decoders.
