I DON'T LIKE CRAIG as BOND. But I'm going to go anyway since I like JAMES BOND.

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
-
No - DANIEL CRAIG IS NOT BOND!!! I REFUSE TO SEE HIM AS BOND
His name was MackemX
What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend? -
No- I have lost interest in the franchise or never liked it to begin with.
I've never gone to see a James Bond movie in the theatre and nothing I see in the previews leads me to believe that I should change that pattern."Shut up Wesley!" -- Captain Jean-Luc Picard

i voted yes, but i'm a bit hesitant
this is the 3rd James Bond movie to bear the title "Casino Royale" I'm wodering if they are trying to totally reinvent the character or what here? a 'reboot' of the series?????
(I haven't read a single thing about the movie BTW)
this dude just isn't Bond to me....
i still think Adrian Paul would have been the perfect replacement for Pierce Brosnan. but i also think that Pierce Brosnan was the best since Connery."To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research." - Steven Wright

Once again, this poll indicated that if not anywhere else, at least I am in the main stream at this site.
Whomever the Bond is, the story will be well written and the pic qual will be good.
When the DVD comes out, I will be there, but not before. -
Going to see it tomorrow before Work. Should be the First Showing of the Day 12:30....
-
Hmm...
So far 29 chose they don't like DANIEL CRAIG as James Bond. Interesting.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
After Roger Moore, I seriously began to lose interest in Mr Bond.
There's really only been one Bond, and thats Connery, Sean Connery.
/Mats -
I lost interest. IMO, there are too many sequels,
Believing yourself to be secure only takes one cracker to dispel your belief. -
I'll wait for the DVD as usual.
While on topic why is Pierce not playing Bond in this film? I know he did not turn down a guranteed $20million as his Indy movies have not done all that good. I did like "The Matador" though. -
It's my birthday and my sweetie's taking me to Casino Royale for a present.
One of the Brosnan' Bond films (can't remember the title) also opened on November 17 several years ago, and friends took me to that one, too. And yes, I love James Bond!
Connery rules, Moore ranges from okay to Dear Lord Why Do They Let Him Keep Making movies, Lazenby wasn't bad (it helps that Diana Rigg is beyond hot!), Brosnan was tolerable (I really like Brosnan as an actor but don't really care for his Bond), but actually I have a very soft spot for Tim Dalton. Yes, Timothy Dalton as Bond -- he was broody, he looked the part, I think he was terrific, though I realize I'm in the minority. "License to Kill" is one of my favorite Bond flicks.
Are there some very bad Bond movies? Absolutely! "Moonraker" is just so, so awful ......
But I love James Bond!!! :P
EDIT: I'm willing to give Daniel Craig a shot, though he's probably the last actor I would have picked for the role (nothing against Craig as an actor, he's terrific, I just have an "image" of Bond more physically along the lines of Connery/Dalton). But I'll be happy to have his Bond be the best yet! -
I enjoy the James Bond movies. I think Pierce Bronson should of continued in this role for another ten years. Actually he should of been allowed out of Remington Steele contract back in the day and allowed to play James Bond. I really think he could of played that character for a 20 year stretch. I think all the actors that have played the role of James Bond have done a good job. I consider James Bond Movies to be real events when it comes to entertainment. Though I think they space them too far apart. There should be no more than two years between each movie.
I look forward to when this comes on the movie channels. Daniel Craig looks like he will make a good James Bond. -
Of course I'm planning to go see it tomorrow night after Ohio State stomps Michigan into the ground. :P
-
Hey long time no see pyrate - glad your into bond
And fat chance of osu doing that tomorrow :P :P :PGO BLUE!

I am a big fan of the series since i have watched every one on film. But this one is a soft love story, there is no hype gadgets, no rocket firing cars, laser watch none of the stuff i love about James Bond movies.
This is just a soft James Bond love story -

Have you watched the movie as yet. The actor they have playing James Bond looks like he should be in a western. And my opinion of the movie was shared by everyone watching the movie last night.
How softer can you get than James Bond falling in love and crying when looses his love. -

The Movie was Very good saw it this afternoon. Mild Spoilers..
Movie has a Great Opening, where you see The beginnings of Bond becoming an 00 Agent. The Next Chase scene is really Good. The movie is 2 hrs and 15 minute's, but well Paced. The Villian is not the Normal Over the Top character we are use to seeing. Great Story not alot of Special effects but alot of Nice Stunts. Also the Torture Scene was very well Done. If you have never seen a Bond Movie this one is a Great Start. I look forward to Daniel Craig being the James Bond for the Next 2 or 3 movies. If anyone has Questions I will answer them about the Movie... -
Here's a few pics of the new James Bond:
Nope I won't be seeing this movie until it's released on DVD.
IMHO he's not cut out to be a James Bond.

"The rapid appearance of this film on the streets shows the sophistication and organisation behind film piracy in the UK, " said Kieron Sharp, from the Federation Against Copyright Theft.
"Film piracy is a crime being committed on UK streets, in markets and online and one that generated over £270 million for criminals in the UK alone," he added.
