YOU call $1776 a price drop? People who sell on e-bay have there friends place bids to make
the bid go highter. So the person who wants it keeps on bidding on it, then end up paying to much for it. E- bay SUCKS

Well, the ebay site is still busy. But it drops faster. This one is sold for $1165.
It looks like it will get under 1K soon.

It is fun! I never thought I would buy one of PS3 now. I almost bought
this one. For $250, I think it is not a bad price just for BR player along.

  6. Sold at prices don't mean much. There are a lot of scammers on Ebay. Same with the ps2.

The way it works is that someone buys your Ps3 for $2000. You wait for payment, they pay. Later paypal finds out its not their credit card, so they take the money back from you. THe person gets your ps3. What do you get back? Not as much as you paid for your ps3.

highest "buy it now" is $500.000, another 100.000 and several for 50.000. highest paid is over $30.000. PS3 "bubble"?

also found two 1.000.000 and one 875.000. Now 500.000 looks like a real bargain!

  9. Lots of cops here at our Best Buy that night. It didn't look like those buying it were even old enough to have a ebay account

Might be some on your local craigslist.com website.

Amazing that corporate marketing can turn some people into mindless automatons to spend $500 to "enjoy" a mindless fantasy. Is the real so bad that some people need this escape from reality.
If you afford $500. a game you are overpayed and living in a dream world.

I wonder how much money people spend on their TVs? TV has been considered "mindless fantasy" and an "escape from reality" ever since it has existed.

BTW I'd never buy a game console, but I did drop about $300 on my computer's graphic card and I have no regrets enjoying my mindless fantasy.

Yeah, with a non-registered user as the seller.
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

Whoever won that auction is a moron. Seller has enough feedbacks... but notice that they are all (most) from sellers. If you look at them, they are CHEAP items. That's what these guys do, they rack up some feedbacks by buying cheap items (recipes, coupons) for one penny or a few bucks.

then they list a pricey item, bank on the fact that people will look at feedback rating without looking deeper.

    screwed.

EDIT - better yet, look at the winner - imbrokebytch ( 0 )

There's gonna be some pissed of eBayers.

I was just over there looking at auctions and as I clicked through i noticed at least five auctions that I was able to view, but after hitting Refresh i got this message:

"This listing (120054283886) has been removed or is no longer available. Please make sure you entered the right item number.
If the listing was removed by eBay, consider it canceled. Note: Listings that have ended more than 90 days ago will no longer appear on eBay."

I also noticed a bunch of sellers were editting auctions to add their eBay name to the photos. I guess eBay was cancelling auctions bc there are so many scams!
