dazzle avi to dvd for nero help

I am using the Dazzle DVC 80 to capture analog video. It saves it as an avi file. I tried using avi2dvd to convert but I can't add the avi files where it tells me to "Add Job". How do I get my captured files from Video wave to nero?

Why not use Nerovision that comes with Nero? or some other all-in-one dvd encoder https://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=35#35 or some other mpeg encoder https://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=40#40
