DivX Converting to VCD -> no picture OR audio!

Hi - maybe someone here can help me with my problem. I've been succesfully converting avis to VCD with TMPG in the past, now I got a file (I assume divx since its a pretty small avi file)which plays well, opens in TMPG without problems, converts without any error message -> but the result is a file without sound or video, just a blank black screen. Any idea what the problem could be? or even better - how I can fix it? I already tried running the file trough virtual dubb encoding it again but it didn't help

i've got the same problem but i dont have it blank all the time, it comes out at random times, i convert a movie and the first 1hr or so is fine then all of a sudden the screen goes blank and the sound goes all screwy, ive never seen this before, it has happened with 2 of my divx's, i dont know if its the divx or this latest version of TMPGenc.

Yeah i have the same problem, i convert the .avi to .mpeg with TPMG. The sound works but there is no picture (its black)

Also before i convert it, the .avi can only be played in Divx player 2.0, and it plays fine.
Then when i convert it, it will play on anything but there is no picture. Anyone know why this is happening?
