    I have a UK computer which had a uk windows xp home edition installed. Irecently installed xp pro, a US version, and now my @ sign is frigged up. I can use it cause i found out which key it is switched with, but i wanna switch it back. Does anyone know how to reroute a key board, and what would i need.

    If you re-installed Windows, that should have corrected any international keyboard changes. Although I don't know that the UK uses anything different in the way of KBs.

    But there are programs to remap the keyboard: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article02-022

    It sounds more like the KB has a problem. Simple cure, pop off the key and trade to the working position. Have you tried a different KB on the system?
