  1. I have alot of Xvid files that i want to burn om a DVD.
    I have a dvd player that can play Xvid.

    But my problem is that i want to have a menu so i can chose movie.
    Is this possible.

    I use NERO.

    The newest versions of Divx can do something like that, but there are very few players that can read them. Most other Divx players will list what's on the data DVD, so there is sort of a menu system built into the players. Other than those exceptions, if you want DVD type menus, you would need to use a MPEG type of DVD.

    Quite a few players listed as Ultra certified now (just most people already bought HT certified I players guess).

    Anyway Xvid is just a video codec. Menu's come down to the container. As mentioned the divx media format supports menus. Other options would be mp4 or mkv, but then no SAP's support them (there are SAP's that support mp4's, just not menus).

    Chances are that you are stuck with the file browser.

    Your DVD player already does this.

    When you put in the DVD disk with the content, it should automatically give u a list of whats on that DVD disk. If it doesnt, then once the disk is loaded, press "stop" twice on the remote control. If still nothing, press Menu on the remote control.

    This works with 99% of players capable of playing Divx/Xvid.
