Ive noticed that on some video files when moving the triangular indicator in QT to a new place forward one gets a weird "photoshoped" effect for a period of time then it settles down.
what causes this? have I been clear enough for you to get the idea?
is this from the compression method used to make the video or my playback?
cheers

Can you describe in more detail this effect you're noticing? My QuickTime Player 'only' gives me a few keyframes when using the slider.

its more like when I move the slider a few minutes say forward some movie files rarely look like the compression what 'photoshop'd" meaning if you had a file in photoshope you can pick various effects it will turn the pic into, sort of maybe like an impressionist painting, stuff like that
it takes the movie while running a few seconds to decode properly back to a 'normal' movie
so its either in the encoding (probably) as its a rare thing, on my decoding''\
as Inow have a MPro
its not the speed of this computer
so it must be faulty coding or downloading?
