Is it just me or does the latest version on Windows Media Player not allow you to screen capture like it used to? It used to be either ALT-I or CTRL-I, but now it doesn't seem to work.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Hmmm. I never knew it was possible to do that. I do know that some screen capture applications can capture the contents of Media Player. Usually the contents are on a DirectX overlay, so you would need an application that understands this.

I didn't know it could do that either!

you could try this way to use PrintScreen on your keyboard
Go to Control Panel/Settings > Display > Settings tab > Advanced button > Troubleshoot tab
    Set Hardware Acceleration to none.

Then you can use PrintScreen key and paste into your graphics editor.

(Alt+PrintScreen to capture active window only instead of full-screen)

    Edit Added :
Remember to turn Hardware Acceleration back on when you are finished taking screenshots of Windows Media Player.

I gotta go try out the CTRL combos and see if they work for me, thanks.
